F.A.Q. > Taxes > How do I turn over my tax refunds to the Trustee?

Search the FAQ for entries containing:

If your Chapter 13 Plan states that part or all of your annual income tax refunds will be committed toward funding your plan, you may turn them over to the Trustee by online payment through Nationwide TFS, money order or cashier's check.  If you have questions about turning over your tax refund to the Trustee, please contact your attorney.

Option 1: Online Payment

For a fee comparable to the fee for a money order or cashier's check, a private company by the name of Nationwide TFS now provides an option for debtors to turn over their income tax refunds to the Trustee by electronic withdrawal directly from the debtors’ bank account.  Nationwide TFS is a private company that is not affiliated in any way with my office or me.  Neither myself nor my office share any fees paid to Nationwide TFS.

If you decide to turn over your tax refund by online payment, please choose "Tax Refund" when asked to identify your payment using the Nationwide TFS website.
